CSIRO Agriculture and Food is the agricultural and food research unit of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, Australia's national science agency. It applies multidisciplinary science to increase productivity and efficiency at the farm level, improve the quality and yield of Australian crops, develop food processing technologies, and grow the nation's livestock, aquaculture and fishery industries, working through partnerships spanning Australia and 25 other countries.
