Edwin Thomas Meredith (December 23, 1876 to June 17, 1928) was an American entrepreneur and founder of the Meredith Corporation who served as Secretary of Agriculture under President Woodrow Wilson from February 1920 to March 1921, succeeding David F. Houston. He built his publishing career starting with the Farmer's Tribune in 1894, launched the magazine Successful Farming, and later founded Fruit, Garden and Home, which he renamed Better Homes and Gardens.
