Rosa Aguilar is a Spanish politician who served as Minister of Rural and Marine Environment from October 2010 to December 2011 under Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, having earlier been mayor of Cordoba from 1999 to 2009. She began her political career in the Communist Party of Spain and the United Left coalition before her acceptance of a regional ministerial post led to her expulsion from United Left and her move to the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party. She was born in Cordoba province in 1957.
