Prion and Emerging Livestock Diseases

Livestock diseases caused by a prion, a misfolded protein rather than a conventional pathogen, most notably bovine spongiform encephalopathy, and other emerging livestock disease threats not yet settled into the viral, bacterial or parasitic classes above.
