Zero Budget Natural Farming, also called Subhash Palekar Krushi, is a farming system that relies on on-farm biomass to increase the productivity of the soil. Its practitioners call for non-compost, non-organic inputs to increase fertility, relying on a fermented preparation called Jeevamrutha and on increasing the soil's humus content.
