In agriculture, holistic management is an approach to managing resources, originally developed by Allan Savory for grazing management, that has been likened to a permaculture approach to rangeland management. Holistic Management is a registered trademark of Holistic Management International, an organization no longer associated with Savory, and the approach has faced criticism from researchers who argue it is unable to provide the benefits its proponents claim.
