Fur farming is the breeding and raising of certain animals for their fur, primarily for use in clothing and fashion, with production concentrated in a relatively small number of countries. As of the 21st century China has become one of the largest producers of farmed fur, while a number of European countries have seen production decline because of regulatory changes.
