Didymella bryoniae

Didymella bryoniae, also known by the synonym Mycosphaerella melonis, is an ascomycete fungal plant pathogen that causes gummy stem blight in the Cucurbitaceae family, including cantaloupe, cucumber, muskmelon and watermelon. Its asexual stage is called Phoma cucurbitacearum, and when the pathogen infects the fruit of cucurbits rather than the stem the resulting disease is called black rot.
