Land Roller

Tillage and Land Preparation Implements

A land roller, also called an agricultural roller, is a tillage implement that flattens land and breaks up large clumps of soil left after ploughing or disc harrowing. It levels the ground and firms the seedbed to a consistent depth for planting, and is credited with improving weed control, easing harvest and helping retain soil moisture. Rollers were historically pulled by horses or oxen and are still used with draft animals on some farms, including Amish operations, though most are now towed behind tractors.

Entity-backed identity for the power-source enum value this implement already carries, resolved to an agriculture concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The power-source fact itself stays on the implement unchanged.
