Cotton Picker

Mechanized Harvesting Implements

A self-propelled machine that removes cotton lint and seed, called seed cotton, directly from the standing plant, using spindle or stripper mechanisms depending on design. A modern picker can harvest up to six rows at once, replacing the work of dozens of hand pickers.
