Lindiwe Majele Sibanda is a Zimbabwean food systems scientist and policy advocate with more than twenty five years of experience in agriculture and rural development across Africa. She directs the ARUA Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Food Systems at the University of Pretoria and heads Linds Agricultural Services in Zimbabwe, and her research and advocacy address climate change adaptation in Southern African agriculture, food loss and waste reduction, nutrition security and sustainable intensification for smallholder farming systems. She serves as co-chair of the Global Alliance for Climate-Smart Agriculture and as a commissioner of the EAT-Lancet Commission on sustainable food systems.
