Jerome Increase Case (1819 to 1891) was an early American manufacturer of threshing machines who founded the J. I. Case Company, which went through many mergers and name changes to become today's Case Corporation. He also served three terms as mayor of Racine, Wisconsin, and represented Racine County in the Wisconsin State Senate.
