Eric John Underwood, born September 7, 1905, and died August 19, 1980, was an Australian scientist, born in England, who spent his career in Western Australia pioneering research into sheep nutrition and wool production. His work fundamentally advanced the scientific understanding of trace elements in livestock feeding, and he was honored with both the Order of Australia and the Order of the British Empire.
