This category is the index of the atlas's own Figures entities: the individual people profiled for their role in agricultural history, including farmers, agronomists, plant breeders, agricultural economists and policy figures whose work shaped how food is grown, bred or distributed. Each entry covers a specific individual rather than an institution, a crop or a technique, which are filed under their own respective types elsewhere in the atlas.
