William Hillier Onslow, 4th Earl of Onslow, born March 7, 1853, and died October 23, 1911, was a British Conservative politician who served as Governor of New Zealand and held several government offices between 1880 and 1911. He was President of the Board of Agriculture from May 19, 1903, to March 12, 1905, entering the cabinet and being sworn to the Privy Council in the same year, after earlier serving as Governor of New Zealand from 1889 to 1892 and Under-Secretary of State for India and for the Colonies. He succeeded to the earldom in 1870 at the age of seventeen and later served as Lord Chairman of Committees of the House of Lords.
