Dame Theresa Anne Villiers, born March 5, 1968, in Hunstanton, Norfolk, is a British Conservative politician who served as a Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2005 and as Member of Parliament for Chipping Barnet from 2005 to 2024, and who earlier served as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2012 to 2016. She served as Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs from July 24, 2019, to February 13, 2020, under Prime Minister Boris Johnson, leaving the post in the cabinet reshuffle that followed Brexit.
