Joseph Bradshaw Godber, Baron Godber of Willington, born March 17, 1914, and died August 25, 1980, was a British Conservative politician who represented Grantham in Parliament from 1951 to 1979 and held ministerial positions across three prime ministers' administrations. He served as Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food from November 5, 1972, to March 4, 1974, under Edward Heath, having earlier served as Parliamentary Secretary to the same ministry from 1957 to 1960, and he also held the posts of Secretary of State for War, Minister of Labour and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. A former nurseryman with leadership experience in the National Farmers Union, he was created a life peer as Baron Godber of Willington in 1979.
