Charles George Eustice, born September 28, 1971, in Penzance, Cornwall, is a British politician and former public relations executive who served in Parliament from 2010 to 2024 and who had earlier been a member of UKIP before joining the Conservative Party. He was appointed Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on February 13, 2020, replacing Theresa Villiers, and called the post his dream job; his tenure, which included animal welfare legislation and restrictions on neonicotinoid pesticides, ended when incoming Prime Minister Liz Truss dismissed him on September 6, 2022.
