Edward Rell Madigan (January 13, 1936 to December 7, 1994) was a businessman and Republican politician from Lincoln, Illinois who served nearly twenty years in the US House of Representatives before serving as United States Secretary of Agriculture under President George H. W. Bush from 1991 to 1993, the first Roman Catholic to hold the office.
