William Marion Jardine, born January 16, 1879, and died January 17, 1955, was an American administrator and educator who served as United States Secretary of Agriculture from 1925 to 1929 under President Calvin Coolidge and later as United States Minister to Egypt from 1930 to 1933. Before his cabinet service he was president of Kansas State University from 1918 to 1925, and after his diplomatic posting he served as president of what is now Wichita State University from 1933 to 1949, spanning a career across agricultural science, university leadership and diplomacy.
