Catherine Bertini, born March 30, 1950, is an American public servant who received the World Food Prize in 2003. She served as Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Programme from 1992 to 2002 and as United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Management from 2003 to 2005. She later became a distinguished fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, chair of the board of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, and chair of the executive board of the Crop Trust.
