Antonio Cabrera Mano Filho is a Brazilian veterinarian born in Sao Jose do Rio Preto in 1960, and the grandson of a Spanish immigrant. During the government of President Fernando Collor de Mello he became, at age twenty nine, the youngest cabinet minister in Brazilian history, heading the Ministry of Agriculture from April 1990 to October 1992. In August 1990, while serving as minister, he was admitted by President Collor to the Order of Military Merit at the special grade of Grand Officer. In Sao Paulo state he later served as secretary of agriculture under Governor Mario Covas, and in 2002 he ran for governor of Sao Paulo on the Brazilian Labour Party ticket, finishing seventh with about 200,000 votes.
