William Donald Stuart MacDonald was a New Zealand politician, born 1862 in Meningwort, Victoria, Australia, and died 31 August 1920, who emigrated to Poverty Bay, New Zealand, in 1882 and became a pastoralist before representing Bay of Plenty in Parliament from 1908 until his death. He served as Minister of Agriculture from 12 August 1915 to 22 August 1919 in the Reform government, and briefly led the parliamentary opposition from January 1920 until his death that August.
