Thomas Leonard Hayman was a New Zealand politician of the National Party, born 24 May 1904 near Waimate and died suddenly of a heart attack on 2 January 1962, who represented the Oamaru electorate from 1949 to 1957, defeating Labour's Arnold Nordmeyer, and then the Waitaki electorate from 1957 until his death. A farming contractor before entering politics, he served as Postmaster-General from 12 December 1960 to 2 May 1961 and then as Minister of Agriculture from 2 May 1961 until his death in office.
