Horace Andrew "Bud" Olson was a Canadian businessman and politician from Alberta, born 6 October 1925 and died 14 February 2002. A farmer and rancher who was president and chief operating officer of Farmer's Stockmen's Supplies in Medicine Hat and Lethbridge, he served as a Member of Parliament, Senator, and Minister of Agriculture from 6 July 1968 to 26 November 1972 and Minister of Economic and Regional Development, and later as the fourteenth Lieutenant Governor of Alberta from 1996 to 2000.
