Vicente Albero was a Spanish economist and politician who served as Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food from July 1993 to May 1994 under Prime Minister Felipe Gonzalez. A member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) who had been active in anti-Franco opposition groups in his youth, he represented Valencia province as a deputy in the Spanish Congress from 1989 to 1996 and had earlier served as Secretary of State for Water Policies and the Environment. He was born in Valencia in 1944.
