Stephane Le Foll is a French politician, born in 1960, who served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2012 before becoming Minister of Agriculture from 2012 to 2017 under President Francois Hollande; in 2016 he became the longest-serving Minister of Agriculture since the office was established in 1836. He later served as Mayor of Le Mans.
