Raymond Marcellin was a French politician, born in 1914 and died in 2004, whose long ministerial career included Minister of Public Health from 1962 to 1966, Minister of Industry from 1966 to 1967 and, most notably, Minister of the Interior from 1968 to 1974. He closed out that career with a brief tenure as Minister of Agriculture, from 1 March 1974 to 28 May 1974, under Prime Minister Pierre Messmer.
