Jaime Lamo de Espinosa is a Spanish politician and agricultural economist who served as Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries from February 1978 to December 1981, spanning the governments of Adolfo Suarez and Leopoldo Calvo-Sotelo and making him one of the longest-serving agriculture ministers of Spain's democratic transition. A member of the Union of the Democratic Centre (UCD), he held the noble titles of Marquess of Mirasol and Baron of Frignani and Frignestani. After leaving the agriculture ministry he served briefly as a minister without portfolio to the prime minister.
