Jacques Mezard is a French lawyer and politician, born 3 December 1947, who practiced law in Paris from 1971 to 1976 and in Aurillac from 1977 to 2009 and served as Deputy Mayor of Aurillac. He was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Food on 17 May 2017 for roughly one month, before moving to the Territorial Cohesion portfolio on 21 June 2017; he later served on France's Constitutional Council from 2019.
