Francois Patriat is a French politician, born in 1943, who served as Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries from 25 February 2002 to 6 May 2002, a brief tenure of about two and a half months ending when Jean-Pierre Raffarin became Prime Minister. He was originally affiliated with the Socialist Party, later serving as a Senator for Cote-d'Or and President of the Regional Council of Burgundy, and joined Emmanuel Macron's political movement in 2017.
