Francois Guillaume is a French politician and agricultural leader, born 19 October 1932, who was president of the Federation Nationale des Syndicats d'Exploitants Agricoles, the country's dominant farmers' union, from 1979 to 1986. He served as Minister of Agriculture from 1986 to 1988, then as a Member of the European Parliament from 1989 to 1994 and a member of the National Assembly from 1993 to 2002.
