Alfredo Diana was an Italian agronomist and Christian Democracy politician who led the farmers' association Confagricoltura from 1969 to 1977 before entering elected politics, serving in the European Parliament from 1979 to 1984 and then in the Italian Senate from 1983 to 1992. He served as Minister of Agriculture and Forests from March 1993 to May 1994, spanning the Amato and Ciampi governments, capping a career spent almost entirely on agricultural policy and rural representation.
