Michael Carl Werner Schwarz was a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union, born 21 January 1900 in Hamburg and died 2 September 1982 near Bad Oldesloe, who worked as a self-employed farmer and held prominent positions in agricultural associations before entering national politics. He represented the Stormarn constituency in the Bundestag from 1953 to 1965 and served as Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Forestry from 14 October 1959 to 26 October 1965, succeeding Heinrich Lubke after Lubke's election as Federal President and continuing under both Adenauer and Ludwig Erhard.
