Julia Klockner is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union, born 16 December 1972, who was named German Wine Queen in 1995 before entering national politics as a Bundestag member for Kreuznach from 2002 to 2011 and then holding office in Rhineland-Palatinate state politics. She served as Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection from 2018 to 2021 under Angela Merkel, and was elected President of the Bundestag in 2025, assuming that office on 25 March 2025 in succession to Barbel Bas.
