Jochen Borchert is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union, born 25 April 1940 in Nahrstedt in the Stendal district, who held a Bundestag seat from 1980 to 2009. He served as Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection from 21 January 1993 to 26 October 1998 in Helmut Kohl's cabinet, succeeding Ignaz Kiechle and preceding Karl-Heinz Funke.
