Jahangir Alam Khan, born 1952, is a Bangladeshi agricultural economist and researcher who has served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Global Village since 2017 and previously directed the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute from 2006 to 2009. He holds a PhD in agricultural economics from the University of Canterbury and earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Bangladesh Agricultural University, and he has also served as a director of the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council. The government of Bangladesh honored his research achievements with the Ekushey Padak, the country's second-highest civilian award, in 2020.
