David Zilberman, born May 9, 1947, is an Israeli-American agricultural economist who has held the Robinson Chair in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Berkeley since 1979. His research spans the economics of agricultural production technology and risk, agricultural and environmental policy, and the economics of climate change, biofuel and biotechnology. He served as president of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association, was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2019, and received the Wolf Prize in Agriculture that same year.
