Zymoseptoria tritici

Zymoseptoria tritici, also known by the synonyms Septoria tritici and Mycosphaerella graminicola, is a filamentous ascomycete fungus in the family Mycosphaerellaceae. It is a wheat pathogen that causes septoria leaf blotch, a disease that is difficult to control because it has developed resistance to multiple fungicides, and it is today one of the most important diseases affecting wheat.
