Glenn Wade Salisbury (1910 to 1994) was an American scientist educated at Cornell University who became a leading figure in promoting the use of artificial insemination in dairy cattle to spread the genetics of superior sires more widely. He was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 1974 and received the Wolf Prize in Agriculture in 1981 for this work.
