Stephen John Watson was a twentieth century British agriculturalist recognized for his research into the nutritional values of hay, straw and silage under differing storage and environmental conditions. He held fellowships including the Royal Society of Edinburgh, the Royal Institute of Chemistry and the Royal Agricultural Society, and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
