Yeshayahu Folman is an Israeli professor of biology and agriculture at Hebrew University who directed the Animal Institute at the Volcani Center for Scientific Research and served as chief scientist at the Israel Ministry of Agriculture. He is a survivor of the Auschwitz extermination camp.
