Marion Eugene Ensminger, 1908 to 1998, known as Doc E, was an American animal scientist, educator and author who made significant contributions to animal agriculture, advancing knowledge and improving livestock management practices through his research, writing, teaching and international outreach. He wrote 22 books on animal science and husbandry.
