Carl Henry Clerk

Carl Henry Clerk, born in the Gold Coast, now Ghana, in 1895 and died in 1982, was a Ghanaian agricultural educationist, administrator, journalist, editor and Presbyterian church minister. He studied agricultural science at Tuskegee University and education at Columbia University's Teachers College, served as general manager of Presbyterian Schools from 1935 to 1944, later became the fourth Synod Clerk of the Presbyterian Church of the Gold Coast from 1950 to 1954, and edited the Christian Messenger newspaper from 1960 to 1963.
