Chinnamanna Narayanaswamy Naidu, born February 6, 1925, in Vaiyampalayam in Coimbatore district and died December 21, 1984, was an Indian agriculturist and farmers' rights activist who served as president of the All India Farmers' Association and the Tamil Nadu Agriculturists' Association. He was remembered as a determined advocate who built a strong farmers' movement in Tamil Nadu. In December 2020 the Tamil Nadu government established an annual award in his name, presented during Republic Day celebrations, recognizing farmers who achieve the highest paddy yields through the System of Rice Intensification.
