Sir Cadwaladr Bryner Jones, born 1872 and died 1954, was a Welsh agricultural educator and civil servant who served as Professor of Agriculture at the University of Aberystwyth before becoming the first Welsh Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries following its 1919 formation. His honors included appointment as CBE in 1920, CB in 1936, a knighthood in 1947 and an honorary doctorate from the University of Wales in 1938, and the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society established the Sir Bryner Jones Memorial Trophy in his honor in 1957.
