Max Armstrong

Max Armstrong, born June 13, 1953, in Owensville, Indiana, is a retired American agriculture broadcaster who spent forty eight years covering farming and rural life, including forty two years partnering with Orion Samuelson on Chicago's WGN Radio and co-creating the television program This Week in AgriBusiness. He retired from daily broadcasting in June 2023 while continuing to contribute to Farm Progress, and his career was recognized with a WGN Radio Walk of Fame plaque in 2016, the presidency of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting in 2017, and induction into its Hall of Fame in 2019.
