All Cooperative and Farm Organization Leaders

Figures whose defining agricultural role was founding or leading a farmer cooperative, agricultural society, farmers' union or similar membership organization built to serve its farmer members collectively rather than to generate private profit for an owner, from dairy and wool cooperatives to national farmers' unions and agricultural societies. It does not include the founders or executives of an investor-owned or family-owned agribusiness company (see Agribusiness Executives and Founders), even one that grew very large, or a figure whose organizational leadership was secondary to a government or ministerial career (see Agriculture Ministers and Government Officials).
