The domesticated members of the camel family (Camelidae): the two Old World camels, dromedary and Bactrian, and the two New World camelids, llama and alpaca. A real taxonomic family grouping as well as a standard FAO husbandry class. Belongs here: any domesticated camelid species or named breed. Does not belong here: any other livestock species, whatever its role as a pack or fibre animal in some regions.
