The Siamese buffalo, also called the Krabue buffalo, Thai water buffalo or Thai swamp buffalo, is a large breed of water buffalo indigenous to Thailand, its name drawn from the Thai word krabue, meaning water buffalo. It is a swamp-type buffalo with a coat that can be black, brown, grey or albino, used for plowing, meat and milk in traditional Thai farming, and is not currently considered at conservation risk.
